The town of Mt. Jackson holds the Harvest Festival on October 8 and 9th, 2011. There will be plenty of bluegrass music, crafts, food, and family entertainment.
If you haven't been to Mt. Jackson, this is a great time to meet some friendly people, visit the Civil War sites, and drive through the covered bridge just south of town. It's just off I-81 in beautiful Shenandoah County, Virginia. Mt. Jackson is about 25 minutes from Bryce Resort.
